Hey guys, just got back from a road trip from KC to Denver & back. I got a new car awhile back and this was the first chance I've had to really see what it was capable of. We made it to Denver pretty quick, 600 miles in 6 1/2 hours. We had a strong headwind, but we managed two 5 mile runs at 130mph. I expect I could've gotten 140-145mph out of the car without the headwind. Not bad for a four door!

Thanks, man - it does have 255HP but I got the automatic. The manuals weren't out when I bought mine last October. From what I understand Nissan used a cable acuated shift mechanism instead of rod linkage. Reports I've read said ppl are dissatisfied with the shift action in the manuals. I was looking at the GTP myself - that's a great car. A guy at work has one and I've been trying to set up a race with him - I'll post the outcome if/when we race.

BTW, on the road trip I got the Maxima up to 130 which I think is where it's limited. Time to look into modding the ECU - I think it's good for 145, maybe more.
