Moving sucks...

As I type this, my computers are the only electronics I have left to unhook before I move across town. I moved a year ago and it seems like I just got unpacked. It turns out I can't get DSL for 7 business days after my phone line is hooked up so I'm going to be out of commission for awhile. Any of you tuners using broadband know that going back to dial-up, even for a short time, is about as appealing as whacking off your left nut. So, I'll just do without for awhile while I hook all my other stuff up.

i just moved about 4 weeks ago too. I've been using broadband for about half a year, and i dont want to go back. When we moved, i went closer to 2 weeks without internet..it sucked ALOT. What makes it worse is i'm addicted to alot of online games, so it was a really hard kick in the pants for me. To think, i'll have to do it again in less than a year.

Hey im stuck with dial up. Australia is only just starting to get right into broad band. And where i live (outside of sydney) I cant even get it at all. Wrong telephone lines. and itll be a fair while before I can even get it. As for moving. ive never had too. Im 16. lived here all my life. :-D

Isn't it hot down in Australia? I live in North Carolina,USA and its pretty cool here. ( cool as in temp. and neat ) oh...and does any one know the max hp of the cheaper Acura NSX? The 1st one that is. The 2nd has 470 hp which is pretty good.

It was a long weekend, but I got everything moved. The waiting game for DSL begins. I'd also been debating whether to continue with DSS or get cable. I found out it would've cost me 30% more just to get two TVs set up with cable as opposed to satellite. I hate the cable companies.

Happy New Year folks - I'm back up and running at my new place, although I've been playing a game called Divine Divinity for the PC like mad. If you like RPGs I suggest picking up a copy as you will waste many an hour playing this game!

I must say the same about AGE OF MYTHOLOGY. If ya like RTS, GO BUY IT!!!!!! meteor showers KICK ARSE!!!!!! and I LOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVE the new 3D engine. absolutely marvelous. Astounding.
PS. Im still stuck with 56K.

I agree, AOM is definitely a step forward in the RTS genre. M$ does manage to publish some decent games. Has anyone played Rallisport Challenge? If you enjoy rally racing, it's a very good game. Another game I was really looking forward to that I can't get to run correctly is Moto GP.

I haven't seen any new setups for a good while now. Maybe I should break the silence with a new setup. Maybe an NSX or an RX-7.

Did you already try to add a chat feature to the site or?,,, get back to me on this .. i have alot of friends that would liekm to use yer site for that thing, (think of the HITS LOL) :-\ cuz our current site was blocked off.. if you have and couldnt. can you setup a forum for us plz??? it would be greatly appreciated, if it wouldnt fill your bandwith or watever :-\ thanks a bunch dogg gota run,

Yeah Fly thanks for your trying, but as being at school. we have bess (and internet blocknig program) so we cant access very much at all, This is one of the Few forums we can access now, and being friends with the webmaster id would have hoped he would do it for me. again i would appreciate it if u did that for me. thanks a bunch

FLYBUYF1, thanks for the post on this. Typically I don't even respond to these requests because it is the number 1 question I receive and i got tired of answering it all the time. But since it's you, gk, I'll reiterate that I don't have forums because there are already a good number of forums, GT By the Numbers and Granturismo.com being my favorites. That said, I don't have the time or patience required to program and deal with a forum, let alone the money required to fund the extra bandwidth necessary after a glut of new traffic arrives. Just ask Kenji over at Granturismo.com how hard it is to host a popular forum and you'll get an idea of why I made this site the way it is today.... low maintenance!

yeah Jhiza over at GT3times had some troubles with the moolah side of things there for a while. guess it worked out in the end.
