Hey guys,

I got my copy of Need For Speed Underground 2 and have had a chance to play it a bit. I'll have an in depth review coming in the future, but for now I'll just say that there are many things about this game that make it better than it's predecessor. The graphics are great, handling physics and gameplay depth are all a very big step forward. Back to the game!

one small, small thing i must comment on...

when you first play a given gametype, you get a small 'training video' that shows you your objectives and some tips to do well. during these clips, listen to the turbo in the demo car... when i first heard this, i was all excited that a game was finally going to realistically represent the loud spool-up sound of a large turbo. but alas, after getting the stage 3 turbo and the unique turbo, the sound seems to be absent from the game :-(

Kerr, I was going to donate to the site (really, I was.)but the link isn't working. After you read this you can erase this message. Or you can email me. I've been stealing setups for long enough, I guess I can seperate myself from a few bucks. I don't know if you have the capability to see how often I am here but it is all the time. This site is so important to the joy I get from GT3. Sorry it took so long to admit it.

-rob- -- I've got stage two so far and it doesn't sound all that different than stock IMO. I'm having a great time playng through the game though. I was unhappy though about the fact that you can't unlock a unique part in one stage and save it for applying to a car in a later stage.
