Have you ever seen Drag Racing?
Well they run on 90% nitrous and 10% alcohol. And have 6000+hp and weight near to nothing!. They do the 1/4 mile in 4.6 seconds. This does it in 8.9 seconds. Now if this ran on Nitrous and alcohol and had 6000hp it would do it in 4 seconds flat. In otherwords...this is my fastest 0-1000m time in all of my GranTurismo games. It out runs my F094/s by atleast 2/10tths of a second! This setup also goes about 255 mph...It hits the 0-400 in 8.9 seconds at 173 mph and 0-1000 in 15.653 at 222 mph!
I have played around with the Rear downforce. Right now it doesnt go as fast at the end but up unto 700m it wins by a long shot over my replay of the rear at .43....I would tinker with it maybe .51 would get below my record of 15.653!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have a faster time by any car ( I wonder if the Zonda Race car could beat this?) please comment and tell me.

Well I put it at .51 and managed a 15.644....damn this car will scoot!

well I added a lil camber and tweaked gearing slightly and LSD and now have 15.636................my RUF RGT has 16.055...does anyone have better?F094/s=15.834

The Race car is slower bye almos a full second.....another example of this would be the Viper GTS vs the Viper GTSR Team oreca....Team oreca goes only around 250...yet my GTS goes 274

the reason why the viper GTS-R team oreca race car is slower because the car creates a lot more downforce. it would kill the GTS on a track though.

Yes...but thats an Escudo!! I would love to see that race...the Escudo with over 700 extra hp..and over 200 kg lighter barely outruns the Zonda C12s bye 2/10ths of a sec...lol I just think its amazing that the Zonda is so fast..It and the XJ220 ( Awful ) r the only 2 supercars on this game....The naxt game I hope will have atleast 15 or so....Polyphony..pleasee get a full Mclaren license!!

1000m Time

My Viper GTS will do the 1000m meter run in 14.1 seconds, and thats barely tuned at all from my road settings. Well, it's actually 14.557 but we'll leav it a 14.1. I'll dig up my road settings for it and post them later. My Viper GTS will also do 282 on the Max Speed Challenge, and if I tweak it more I could probably get it upto 287. The Viper GTS was my second car too, and its relatively unexpensive for the number of races it will win you, (only 80k), You should buy one if you don't have one already. =)

Do you mean 16.1? 14.1 ? You'd have to do the 400m in 7 secs and hit around 250 at the 1000m. Please check your times.

C12S 15.432, RGT 15.612, Viper GTS 16.090, F094/S 14.863, all Racing-line certified.

I was surprised how well your Zonda ran with your settings, as they are considerably different from what I use. I guess there's more than one way to skin a cat! I'll post what I was using when I get a chance, and I'll certainly try some variations of yours. Sure appreciate the effort by you guys who post a lot of settings here. Also agree, no way the Viper does 14.1, or even 16.1 unless it's specifically tuned for 1000m.

BTW, my C12S is 8.760 in the 400m, though the gears and downforce are different, of course. Oddly, I find greater downforce is good in the 400m, and minimun DF is better for the 1000m.
