This is the car that I started with. I don't want to harp on it too much because, well, we are a Mazda family. I drive an MPV and the wife a 626, before them we had a 323 Sport Edition, so I could go on and on about the MX-5. Unlike most of my other setups I did not bother to check for the best wheel combo on this car. Let's face the facts here; you will not be using a tuned version for any “tire wear on” courses. It had 171 miles at posting.
As an additional note it had a stage2 turbo.

I was just wondering if the brake balance is really that low. This car can be a bit squirrly at max HP, and I was wondering if the brake balance at that setting would help at all?

I decided on the lower brake setting because the hp of this thing was not so high that it couldn't allow for some smooth sliding through corners. Actually I believe that it was either you or fumes that had pointed that little trick out to me. This setting is not so much to let you [almost] stop as to let you slide on those tighter corners. However, at 370hp on the GT3 technical courses how often do you really need to almost stop? Maybe on two or three, I don't recall right now.
Note: The spings, shocks, and T8's are the key!
