The dealer tells you that due to the lush interior this car is worth every penny you pay for it. Well guess what, you don't get the interior when you buy this pricy monster. What you do get for the massive sum of 133 plus G's is a heavy hot car that does not want to keep its tail end behind it. At first I thought that this thing was to slow at take off to be a real V12 and then I remembered something else that the dealer said. The cars computer keeps the engine running at V6 until all the power is demanded, and at take off from a standing start you can tell the lag is there. True to the Mercedes name though, there is no perceptible leap or jolt when the V12 revs up. Also (as you would expect) the superior engineering shows itself in the cornering as the weight shift is not perceptible until late into a turn. This is both a good and bad thing. It is good in that you can adjust and learn to pull off some smooth turns that other heavy cars can't do. It is bad because until you learn to anticipate this delayed shift feeling you will find yourself deep into a turn when it happens and more often than not this will promptly lead to a wall hit. So is it really worth the mountains of cash to buy and fully equip this thing? No defiantly not, you are best off using the CLK55. It had 127 miles at time of posting.

Score: Acceleration = 12, Handling = 2, Speed = 10, and 20 points for Class B car gave it a total score of 44 points.
