My first challenge to this car was picking the color; satin silver or sandance gold? Well I picked sandance gold which I might add is a type-o since the Acura company offered sUndance gold but not sAndance gold. The next challenge I faced was the massive understeer. Even for a FF this car has it in abundance. If you have ever read the manual on driving FF type drivetrains it tells you to accelerate after the apex, this car is the reason why they advise it. Another problem (that I could not fix) was the sluggish acceleration, it is so bad in this car that I had to check and make sure that a stage three turbo had not been slipped in on me. Nope, still natural aspiration stage 3. Acura, as hal2000 mentions in his setup, is the American company for Honda, the idea behind the split was to present the American public with a luxury version of the Honda line of cars. Unfortunately the adaptation also meant that the American versions where toned down in the performance area to meet the stricter U.S. specs. PD has done a very good job with this car and representing that aspect of the car world. My overall impression; you can complete the game without using this car and unless you just have the feel to drive it I suggest that you move on. LSD is not a requirement for this car, if you purchase it just do as I did and turn it all the way down.

The good: Sundance gold is a very nice color. The bad: poor acceleration and more understeer than the usual FF. Even after tuning you can't keep momentum in corners without sliding off the road or accepting late (post apex) acceleration; which would negate the momentum you had in the first place.

Setup for wheel and pedals.

I want to add one more note about this car. It actually is capable of far more hoarse power, at the time I posted this setup my odometer read thirteen miles. This is a fluke since it should have read over a hundred miles. I got a roll back when one of my kids hit the surge protector and cut the power to the entire entertainment center. Luckily I save my setups after each successful adjustment so the last few changes I had made where easy to add on.

So hal2000, here it is. I know that you use the dual shock so I don't think this setup will work for you. I will try it out with my dual shock later as I found the old D/S setups I had do not work on the wheel; and I would like to know if my new wheel setups work for the D/S. Anyway you may notice that I turned my TCS down to two. Your result of three was the best result when I was testing the car. Sometimes when working on a setup you may need to raise or lower your TCS losing some “testing” performance to gain “driving” performance. In this case I reduced it as I wanted to lose some of the grip; this car needs to be able to slide corners.
