New SharkPort saves
Hey folks, I received updated SharkPort saves from Skidmark awhile back and have finally gotten around to posting the new zip file. You can find it at the SharkPort Saves link in the left margin.

On another note, I was messing around with the Tommy Kaira ZZII last night - man that is a hell of a car. Try it out fully tuned and with RSKeisuke's great setup.

Arcade Mode

Does playing Arcade mode increase the percentage of the game completed? How does one go about applying those wins to the percentage completed?

Yes it does

Beating each of the Arcade tracks on each difficulty adds 0.2% to your percentage. Do it the easy way and reace them on Hard the first time, bypassing the Easy and Normal and getting 0.6% for each track. Also, all of the regulation time trials are worth 0.2% also.

Hey, thanks a lot. I'm at about 70% right now, and can't really spend the time doing some of the longer series in Professional Mode.

bill78512,

You could always save in between races during the longer Professional League series - that's what I ended up doing. If you have two memory cards it's even better because you can just save your game to the 2nd memory card before the series if you want to just jack around for a bit.

Thanks Kerr, I'm doing just that as of a few days ago and am now at about 92% (don't really want to get to 100% anyway). I finished the ardade mode in a day or so with that super MR-S, ever tried it? Another car that did really well (overkill as a matter of fact) was the Jaguar XJ220 in the Polyfany Digital Cup. Never suspected those two cars would be so awesome, kind of happened upon them by accident.

Formula GT
What car would be the best for the Formula GT contest? I could use 094/h, 094/s, 686/m, or the 090/s. I won the first race (Midway ) with the 094/h, but have hit a brick wall at the 2nd race (Seattle). Any recommendations? Aren't the 094/h and the 094/s about the same? Also, I'm thinking about using Auto transmission in that race because of all the cornering? Bad Idea?

I used the F094/S for the whole series with an automatic transmission.

Everything you need comes with the SharkPort - it connects your PS2 directly to your PC via a USB cable. The Internet really isn't a factor in using the SharkPort (other than the fact you can download game saves from the Internet)
