New look for GTVault.com
What's up guys? I got a wild hair this weekend and decided to change the look here at the vault. I was getting tired of the green style and wanted to make the logo a little less prominent. Let me know what you think!

Thought something looked different. Looks great, but of course it always looked great. Smile

Also, just noticed you aligned all the cars and links different. Sweet. Smile

very impressive.....
just found this site and am very impressed with the site... ive been playin GT for a while but i always made due with the settings cause i didnt want to jack my cars up.... but with this its like a whole new game....question for all u wrench-monkeys out there...do your setups gear towards max speed at the expenence of handling? cause for setups for cars like the RUF RGT, i dont think that they could take any poorer handling...

excellent design Kerr

I like the color scheme alot better, although i have found one small problem. I'm currently away, and am on a cheap little Mac,and whenever i mouse over one of the links, it turns a VERY light blue, which is impossible to see on this Mac. I don't know if this is just a problem with this computer, since i havent been able to test it on any other computer.

And deux02, alot of the regular setup contributers set their cars for excellent handling at a high speed, and many of which are able to set very quick laps compared to alot of setups out there. Although some are very good, they may take some time getting used to, as a couple of the heaviest contributing members prefer to do away with the Active Stability Management, which is excellent to have as a beginning player. Their setups are more focused towards the higher skilled player, and may take some time to get used to. But then again, i have no clue as to what your skill level is, and therefore cant decide how well you would do with some of the setups. Thats something you'll have to find out for yourself.

I'm glad you folks like the new scheme - It is much brighter but I think it's still easy on the eyes.

Teken, actually when I mouse over the links on any PC they are a very bright blue. I may tone down the mouseover color this evening.

I did a lot of research before starting gtvault.com and there were absolutely no websites which had much of an organized settings section. You could find some setups in various forums and some fansites had small numbers of setups posted, but that was about it. I doubt the landscape has much changed, but I could be wrong.

Excellent. Subtle, yet devastatingly effective.

Dirty car
My Mustang has run 1965 miles without oil change no tune ups except Dirt tires and no washes. It is honestly brownish grey ( I run it in swis alps 30 laps a day ) And It has 268 bhp! It gets 167 mph at Test course! It used to get 180+ Try and see how dirty your car can get!

You should make a backup save and then change the oil to see what % of your original power you get back.

At first, I thought my comp screwed up, but then I saw this thread. Anyway, this is a whole lot better than the old one, needs a btter background though.

Are you talking about some sort of tiled background image? I've always thought they were tacky - at least all of them I've seen so far.
