FROM AN OUTSIDERS VIEW THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A BAD SETUP...i WAS EXPERIMENTING AND THIS SETUP IS ACTUALLY VERY GOOD. IT IS VERY STABLE IN CORNERS,UNDER BRAKING,AND AT HIGH SPEEDS...240mph+
(sorry for the caps lock) this setup will get you where your going quickly and most important of all safely.

this is one weird looking setup. suprisingly it works great on technical courses. Definately an A+ for setup innovation and a setup that works.
Thank you.

There's nothing weird about this setup at all. The S7 has a horrendous understeer problem, and he simply kept going with the normal things we do to reduce understeer, and the car kept responding positively.

What's great is that he didn't stop when he got to the point that the settings started looking kind of unique. He kept experimenting. That why he's a good tuner.

BTW, the fact that he knew to not add LSD is crucial. He knew that would only worsen the understeer, so he left it off. Great move.

thanks man..yes..most people don't experiment new things in the game..I'm beginning to learn that this IS just a game..and that what may seem unreal to do in the real world may in fact work perfect in the game..I really appreciate the compliments..thanks alot Wink

I love the handling on this car, its a great driving setup.

But i can't get the gearing to work out right for me. I been using:
3.377 1st 2.103 2nd 1.513 3rd 1.170 4th .947 5th .750 6th 2.878 final auto 13
more a less my speed gearing atm, hits just over 257 on the test track, no gimmics or nitrus, also seems to have good acceleration for its top end speed, next going to try for a pure acceleration setup Thumbs Up

your handling setup tho is the bomb, long as i dont get too crazy a lead foot the car handles beatifully. props. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

thanks guys..yeah namdliw..my only suggestion to you would be to reduce TCS..this may help you induce some power oversteer. Smile

I love this car so much now.

And may I ask if having nitrous or not affects anything else on the car.

Because I see people that don't have nitrous, and some that do, same with the roll cage. Does either of these matter?

No the Nitrous does nothing more to the car. I didn't feel the need for it with 895hp on tap. Big Grin

Hmmm... Don't know what the deal with this car is... Crybaby I have tried every setup so far and still come in last... 20 seconds behind is my best so far. I do not blame any tuners, But I will say that this is the better of evils. Before I was 30-35 seconds behind. Disgusted O well I will keep trying I guess...lol

Maybe its the way you are driving the car. Tell me what your problems are and I will tell you whats wrong. Also..what tires are you using?

Well, I drive hard, and brake late Evil ... The problem is I cant seem to keep it straight (on the road) when doing complex turns. I'll spin or hit the dirt and spin Crybaby . I have been using racing super-soft tires, But have moved to racing soft tires since then.

The tracks that I am having this problem is the following: 1. Circuit de la Sarthe I, and 2. El Capitan. mainly with the first one. Angry I think it may be a suspension issue linked to my driving style. just guessing... One thing to note is that the car seems to be "hopping" at high speeds.

Quite excellent setup, and base for faster road course's, after a few tweaks of my own of course, a little stiffer front and a little understeer
