Very nice car. I drove it and thought that I had a superb setup on the car..then I noticed it had medium tires! and I hadn't touched the suspension. Well the Medium tires stayed and I tweaked the suspension to produce this beast. A beast with a monster grip. Nothing phases this car. If you spin out with this car please call sony and request a new controller cause it sure as hell aint my fault. Have fun with this setup.

I've been using setups from here for several years. I usually look for Fuel's setups but I must say that this is the most "turnable" car I have driven. Even when I think I've blown it and entered a corner too fast I can manage to bring it around without crashing or spinning. Great setup!! Smile

thanks..and his name is "Fumes" me Fumes and DTW are like the...well..I don't want to say it...most sought after tuners (there are some other really good setups out there! Smile

Check your gear settings again; At first I thought I had done something wrong, but then I noticed that you had 4th gear at a higher ratio than 3rd. Not a huge deal, just noticed it while tuning my shelby Smile

this car is fantastic to steer. maybe even better than all other american road cars.

can we do a competition? best american road car on 5 circuits:
- test course
- vegas strip
- sarthe II
- fuji 80's
- apricot hill
each member posts 3 cars and best times. setups are free but must be posted or referred to.
all you can change per circuit is the gearbox settings.
reply if you feel like it.

Hey therat1989, I was just running the el capitan induro against this car and noticed something very strange, check out the amount of rear camber the ai is using, must be -10 or something insane like that A Little Slow

The wheels look sideways. Don't have this car but I'm gonna get it soon to check out this set as well as a possible ai simulation.

love the way this car handles.....can i get a HELL YEAH!!!! one of the FEW cars in the game so far the make me yell extacicaly at the tv..... i've made a few tweaks myself....thanks to the comment about the ai's freak rear cambour....which made me spend ALOT of time studying it in an enduro race... I decided to investigate as its really strange that an ai car would use this extreme...has to be there for some reason right?

set the rear combour to between 7-8 ( still testing what feels right ) but as soon as i hit 7...the car comes into it's own...front cambour is between negative-&-1.5...the ai car seems to have ever so slight a front cambour..so minute its bloody hard to pick up...so i'm unsure as to its exact figure.plus it's ride hight is higher sitting at somewhere between 104 and 114 ( front abd rear seem to be set at equal hights)

will post a set-up with my results shortly

Man, with this setup you have given us a car that has become one of my favourite rides in the game, dust it off for a blat around Seattle. It just seems to love this track, i didn't worry about the NA3 upgrade. You got my vote. Thumbs Up

ummm..i did get this car to spin out..and it isnt my controller...it was in new york..but maybe it is because i wasnt paying attention to the race and I was still doing 167 mp when i entered the turn LOL

lol

this is one awesome set up..i didnt even know that american cars could handle this well..usually we just build them to go straight in america...very very nice Thumbs Up
