Wings
Hey Fumes,
This is jivp1983 but everyone can call me Burrito. My question to you is what happens if I don't add a wing. You know, like not go and purchase a wing. Reason is that I like the way the M3 GTR looks normally. I know that I wouldn't be able to do the downforce, but will it make a big difference in the car without the wing? I don't know much about the downforce, so excuse my question if it may sound a little dumb. Also, I like the settings that you have for this car, but it seems it doesn't turn a lot. I am a fan of drifting, so that might be why. I would also like to thank you for all the cooperation that you have done to this website. But anyways take care and I hope that you can write me back a response. Thank You.
Peace,
BURRITO

It will just mean that you would not be able to take corners as fast due to the reduced downforce. I agree, the car looks great without a wing.
I have not really tried it without the wing. Go ahead and try it.

Setup
Well Fumes, I went on and made my first setup for GT4, and it is for the M3 GTR. I don't have a wing on it because face it, the car is hot. Anyways I wanted to know if you could take a look at my setup. I have had two replys so far that say that the setup is very nice. I wanted to thank you and Scuzzy for your help in this setup, since it is combination of both of your setups put together in a creative way. I say this because I don't want to get kicked out of this gt vault. So respect where is due. THANKS.
Peace

Hey Burrito,
I don't see anything wrong with your setup#3219. It's fairly similar to mine, so it can't be too bad

Fumes, you're single handedly getting thousands of people through two Gran Turismo games. I can drive, but fine tuning eludes me. This setup got me through a bunch of races where sport tires were required- a true testament to the quality of the work. For the sport tires I just added 2 decimals to the camber and dropped one decimal to the front springs. That was all it took to adapt to the lesser rubber. Good work, and more importantly thank you for helping me enjoy the games that much more!

Great handling car as always. Any Suggestions to add just a tiny bit of throttle oversteer to it?
Thanks!

Thanks!
Labora,
You could drop TCS to 1, and increase rear spring rates to 14.
I'm not sure how much "a tiny bit" would be enough for your tastes, but if not enuff, increase rear stabilizer to 5 and continue raising rear spring rates slowly until it suits your taste in oversteer.

Really? You want it to oversteer more?
Well, you can stiffen the rear springs more until the car starts to over steer.

Sorry, I'll be more specific.
First, remove TCS, ie set it to 0.
2nd, increase rear spring rates to 14. Test. Then move it up by 0.5 until you are satisfied with the oversteering.
3rd, if it's still not oversteering by the time you reach max rear springs, start increasing rear stabilizers.
