I call this car the "Sledgehammer". There's nothing subtle about it. Initially I was looking to purchase a McLaren SLR but there are two big problems with that car. 1) It's not available in British Racing Green, 2) it's not handmade in Newport Pagnell! I had the Aston Martin Works Service give it the full bespoke treatment, fitted the VBOX, then drove over to Power & Speed oval to see what she'd do.
The Knowledge? Without traction control this is an absolute monster to get off the line successfully. The best I could do was 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, mainly because I'm trying to get to second gear as soon as possible. 0-100 in 7.9 seconds, 1/4 mile in 11.8 and the kilometer coming in 20.3 @ 180mph. 0-100-0 in 10.4 seconds. Top speed is 236 mph. Not too shabby.

This car is not supercharged, don't know why I can't take the supercharger option off the tune list here.

I'm returning to GT4 after a long time and looking at some of my old tunes. I've set this up a little softer now and taken the traction control off because it's obvious that the car didn't come with traction control. I hate to see older car setups with traction control...even 850 hp cars!
This is a seriously fun car and should really be considered a cut-price Bugatti Veyron. Of course it's not as fast as the Veyron, but 400kg lighter, a hell of a lot simpler and...come on, British Racing Green! It's a handful around La Sarthe without traction control and I can't better my original 3'27" time.
Hey man, I'm working on my own setup for this beast and was wondering if you had any lap times you could share? I do my tuning at El Capitan, so if you had one for that track in particular that would be great. I just want to know where my car is standing. I'm liking where I'm getting, but I feel theres still so much more to get out of it. Thanks!
Best racing related name ever: Fatback McSwain

Hey there. It's been quite a while since I had this out of the garage. Lately I'm fixated on Ginettas and Lotuses from the 1960's, the bottom rungs of the ladder compared to this beast. I'll try it at El Capitan and some other tracks and post some times in the next couple days. Thanks for your interest.
