Well I am really impressed with this car! Not only is it a good FF but it is a good sub-300 hp car! I got this setup just right in that I could drive straight into a corner and slam on the brakes while taking it through to the apex then going full throttle and not having to worry about that normal FF understeer.

If you are using the DS2 and don’t like that understeer the DFP setups give; or if you are using the DFP and want a little more oversteer adjust the front toe to -1. Doing this will increase your tire wear but most likely you won’t be using this thing in a race where it really matters much.

TCS is for launch control only. Must do stage three weight reduction for the British Light Weight Series. Port Polish and Engine Balance done.
Setup for DFP.

Comparison?

DTW, I ran Laguna Seca, (where I do my setups), with my set up. I then did some minor tweeking, ie. no LSD and down on my damping. and ran a 1'34.109. I then switched to your setup, (less the wing) and could not get within 1.5 sec of my ghost car. I know mine is vastly different than yours and that we both drive with the DFP. Could you run the same test with yours first, then mine,...... then yours again at Laguna Seca and let me know how you fare. i'm either right on,............ or way off and I need another driver's contrast to straighten me out. In your free time, Thanks, Brian

yes there are some good FF's in the game. Check out these 2 setups of mine.

The Lupo has posted some excellent lap times at Clubman Stage Rt. 5
and the CL type S outruns Sallen S7's and Ford GT's among other "super" cars. Unibrow

I think I see what you are getting at, but without the wing it destabilizes the setup. When I do a setup I will get it as good as I can without the use of any wing. Once I reach a good point I will add wing and do more testing and maybe more adjustments to the suspension or brakes.

So potential reasons why my setup would run one or more seconds slower than yours:
1) You took the wing off.
2) Did you test yours with R3 and what did you use on mine, the S3’s?
3) The biggest difference will be your use of the gear adjustments where I only use the auto. This alone will account for a one or more second lap time difference.

I should have no problem getting to testing it today; when I am done I will post my findings over on your setup.

Thanx DTW,........ I ran R3's on both setups,......... I made only the suspension and LSD changes,...gearing is as I posted on my setup in Automatic. I'll go run mine over on S3's for giggles and post a time for that too. Until later, Brian

Thanks man that's what I needed to know, so we agree to do the real testing on R3's, anything on S3's will just be for shits and giggles.
