Eek Another gem. This car is on rails. 1'07.032 at Infineon(stock car).
This had nothing to do with what you think, if you even think at all.

Isn’t this thing a little overpowered for the Camaro races? Kinda like taking the Maserati MC12 to a used VW Bug race? Big Grin Nod

Just to make you feel a bit better Fumes, the car and setup is perfect for the All American Championship. I even managed to beat the Panoz in every race by at least a couple of seconds which is no mean feat. Thumbs Up

This setup works fantastic on wide open tracks, but it seems to HATE street circuits with me. I had to drop the auto set with the tranny, third gear wasn't potent enough. Other than the 90 degree turns I love it.

Nice setup once again mate, although I'd used this car ALOT before I found your setup so i blew the dust of the car and gave it a run with your setup, only thing I dont like is because I'm the last of the late braker's it seems a bit understeery, I was thinking maybe of increasing the rear brake's to give me a bit more turn in while I'm still on the brakes, any other ideas? Thumbs Up

Yes,
with most, if not all, my setups it's for a generic road track. As such I can only set auto gears for a general track. That means it won't work for super fast tracks or super slow street tracks.
That's where I need the users to adjust the auto gears to suit the track.
Gears should never be static for different tracks.
If only I got a dollar for each time I have said this.

I don't know why I never saw this reply. Anyway, Fumes, I wasn't really clear in what I said. The tranny thing was just a side note though it ended up taking half the message. Gearing needs to change all the time. My problem was that I couldn't get the car to take tight corners well. Its been a while since I've used it, so I couldn't specify if it was a downforce/wheelbase/suspension problem. Sorry for the misunderstanding either way

I did it, too. Only because I wanted to just win the next car in a hurry. So sue me! Cool
Love your setups, Fumes. Thanks!

Great Setup
I liked it, except for the brakes. I felt like they were chattering too much under heavy breaking, and were causing some understeer (probably more from my driving style than anything). Changed to 7/5, got amazingly fun oversteer on high speed braking, it was very easy to bring back although the rear end came out very fast. Try it on El Capitan reverse with an auto setting of 12.
Why is the C6 Z06 so amazing?
