I know what you are thinking because even after making this setup I am thinking it too. What the F is this? This is the strangest setup I have ever done and if you don’t understand what is going on with this car than let me explain. It may help if you first try fully moding the car and taking it out with the stock settings for a test spin.

The first problem here is that its frame, even after adding the rigidity, is way to loose. To control the body roll the springs and shocks have been hardened to the best they could without giving up performance. The second problem is that this car puts down too much power for the tires to grab hold. So when cornering it is always the load bearing rear tire that grabs first and causes this thing to swap ends. To solve this problem I had to force the LSD lock to stay engaged as much as possible. Also I had to load more weight on the rear so that it would not only reduce tire spin but increase the weight on the non-loaded tire.

And two words to the wise. First if you start to get to wild at the apex you may need to counter steer, I never lost the car so you should be able to control it also. Second; if you are trying to pull off a pass under brake maneuver keep in mind that there is an extra 96kg in the trunk. I know it looks weird but give it a test drive before you knock it.

Port polish and engine balance done.
TCS is NOT for launch control, it is to reduce tire spin.
Setup for the DFP.

Wow nice setup! This setup makes the car a lot more forgiving when you enter a turn a little to hot. Good job.

Thanks for the feedback.

The one thing about this car I did not like is the way it uses rear tires. The added weight did not help any with that problem but it seemed a fair trade between control, power, and handeling.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP:
1000 miles!

THE RACE:
Nurburgring Nordschleife (25 laps)

THE ADJUSTMENTS:
Front tyres: Sports/Soft
Rear Tyres Sports/Medium
Gear Ratios: Auto setting 22 (Final 4.100)

THE TACTICS:
Due to the tyres a pitstop is necessary every lap. Fuel up to 20 to save weight. It will be about 8 when you make the next pitstop.

THE TIME:
7'47.365 (I'm quite proud)

THE ADVICE:
Take your time, first to get to know the course. Some bumps are killing, just like some kerbs. Other kerbs can help you corner correctly. Second, get to know the car. She's mean. Small mistakes have big consequences. This fastest lap was the only one without a spin or major crash. It's hard to drift through the corners like on dirt courses, but once you know how to do it, it's quite fun.

Have fun with this setup, let me know your laptimes (but don't beat me too hard plz) Stick Out Tongue

PS: I didn't have to pit the last lap, and I got 7'36.??? (With 1 spin) Big Grin
Next is 95 laps of Opera Paris Course. I hate that one Angry Wish me luck...

Now that is the highest praise I have ever gotten on a setup. A 7’47.365 clean lap on the ring! Eek

Thanks and let me know how Opera goes. Nod

1'28.993 (and that was the last lap Big Grin )

Same setup as on Nordschleife, but with the gearing autoset to 15 (could be set lower, I didn't reach top speed). Tyres needed to be changed every 4 laps. I fueled up to between 15 and 20, but that could be lowered aswell.

I really hated the race, but the last corner is fun to do.

Oh i see... I thought without stage 3 NA tune... the car would be good... but it way sucks... but now i'll buy a upgrade and give it a hell again... Disgusted Big Grin

Off-topic:

Nice job on 1000 miles completion... kinda like a hell heh? Big Grin i work on it for 24 hours! (not really, but i thought i did!) tho i was about to use that car for that... but instead the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-A is screaming "LET ME RACE THAT EVENT!" so i souped it up and let it cream all the oldies. Work the charm too... just a few setup, and it roaring ready to take on 1000 miles sprint. so yup. Email me if any comment or question... baddog1022 at hotmail dot com
