Oh hell yes, Tibbs, with a wing and your shock settings this car will stick like glue and turn on rails. Can't try it now because I'm at work (workin hard you see) but I don't need to. Anyone using a wheel will love this.

Your gears look great, more agressive then mine.

Keep in mind I tuned this car to easily win the series not to utterly shame the ai. If you try tibbs changes try for precise brake points and lines.

Thumbs Up Tibbs, Thank you

Actually I changed them again. I found they were still falling short... not so much that I want to flog the AI but I hated getting up to 253 km/h then having the engine kick me down. Lol. I just lowered the overall ratio a little bit and moved the auto setting around a little bit to give me some more top end speed. Still man, what a great setting. The only race I'm having a b!tch of a time getting done is the driving park one... I keep over using my tires...and Frown loosing my concentration.

Hey Tibbs, here are the gears you're looking for I think:

2.750, 1.800, 1.300, 1.000, .800, final 3.980, auto 6. gets you to 160mph at gvs, still a little shy of pressing to the end of the streight, but I was 8 seconds ahead at the end of the streight on lap two. Think I set final to around 4.6 then set auto to 6 and adjusted the rest.

What ever race your having tire ware problems with just lower downforce by 5 tics front and back, maybe more on the end that wares quicker, or change brake balance.

Thumbs Up to Tibbs for all his great tunes.

Dough, I've completed the game and I don't think a spec points do anything, the last mission is the hardest 200 points you will ever earn. Run the one make series for fun. Glad you like the car.

Try threshold braking instead.

braking sideways fix
Try a full custom lsd with a high decel setting, or mess with brake balance, roll cage maybe.

My driving style for this car is threshold braking and coasting into turns untill is starts to slide, than smooth throttle.

Speedster Tuneup
Aspen, with my driving style, your setup for the Speedster One-make was the ONLY way I could win a prize car that I love, that cannot be bought! I also enjoyed trying the adjustments discussed with Tibbs. I too used a wing. Thanks guys for helping with the technical level of the greatest videogame. Big Grin
I actually use some of the experience here to help me drive real sports cars on the road. Cheaper too ... when you can walk away from a crash and just pour yourself another cold drink from the fridge in the kitchen ! Thumbs Up

Thank you dbraf!

The calibra is the car? I think that's right, how 'bout posting a set when you tune it, looks like it's been a while.

What real life cars do you speak of?

Killer setup ! ! ! !
Perfect for any beginner to GT4 because it is so forgiving. It is almost unfair. Ran the manuf. race with sport tires and the car behaved like it was wearing super-softs.
Lead by example........
