Great solid car that will win every DTM race easily, without purchasing more than a stage 3 turbo. You'll notice the bound/rebound and spring rates are stock. I liked the platform that was there, just changes elsewhere were needed to take the reigns of the horse. Fantastic braking and handling. Tire wear is even, and under very hard driving they hold up fine for the 6 lap variety of races.

Lap Midfield in 1.06.124 which is over a second quicker than other setups listed.

Can't remember if those spring rates were stock or from when I tried Tibb's setup- So I will give a thanks and credit to Tibbs either way for the springs!

How smug of you to say so. What you say could be true, but I don't see your setup listed here- and that was what I was referring to. Don't be a jerk and wander around leaving posts like that. It helps noone but your ego. Maybe your setup is on the GT3 section, but it is not here.

look man I wasn't being a "jerk" I was just trying to tell you in a roundabout way not to come in saying "this setup does faster lap times than any other here" it sounds as if you are being cocky..and I haven't uploaded my setup yet..if you want me too I can. Of course you would probally say that it sucks. I didn't post anything that would boost my ego. I don't have to have an ego over a video game!(I'm sorry GT4..I still love you) um..err..anyway just don't come into a site like this being cocky like you were. Good luck with your tuning here. Your gonna need it with an attitude like that.

Actually it was what you said with your cockiness that prompted my response. You call it "roundabout", I called it being a jerk. With the other two setups that are actually listed, I drove this one significantly faster, mainly because I turned down the LSD settings. Thats all I was saying- "the other setups listed" for the this car, not the entire site.

Feel free to post your setup. I'm not a petty vindictive child that would automaticly discount your setup. If it was better, and required only the stage 3 investment like mine I would use it. End of story. I've used several of your setups. I never busted your chops about your setups, only your attitude. The only thing you post is an implication that A)I'm not as good a driver as you (which I could care less about) and B)Your unlisted setup is better than mine and C) You're better than your friends too (which has NO bearing on anything).

Remember the whole point of individual setups is for personal tastes. I personally performed better with this setup. I even thanked another tuner for indirect help. Nothing I said was cocky in the least. Maybe theres a miscommunication.

ok..I'm sorry for coming off as cocky..I meant no harm (notice the Smile ) We just had a misunderstanding. Now lets just forget about the whole deal. The setup is good. I ran it too. Very good. Tight enough for me. Thumbs Up

Consider it done, man. I'm kinda old school, those smileys just confuse me. Smile It's a tight setup, never expected it win a blue ribbon or anything, but it will get you the money. I like it. If your setup can get me another second though please post it.

I'm glad I came in on the tail end of this one. Not to incite anything, but here's my .02 -- In general, it's hard to cite subjective comparison times with different setups in opposition to friends' times. If it were me, I'd personally race this setup until I wrung it out real well and then make comparisons. Even then, it's still highly subjective to driving style.
