I didn't. I recall you ripping someone in the past based on their nation of origin, which is why I asked.
I have no idea, I haven't kept up with PS3 news as much as I should.

Nik_bear, looks like you've been high jacked! I'm messing with a ff chalange with rac3rx and fumes, check it out on fumes bmw 320i touring set... anyway, though you might want to try a few ideas on this car. Rear spring lowered to around 10.5, front rebound to 7, rear toe to 1 and rear stab up a click or two. Interested to see your response, I havn't tried your set yet but I will when time permits, amazing you've been a member so long with only one set.
more to come?
peace. aspen

and you wonder why you don't get a faster time
Post #10 - Updated 02/21/2006 2:26 PM
well, there are a few things, you haven't done, weight reduction for a start, select the stage 3 reduction, install the NA tune(maybe you have, and you haven't selected it), Super Soft tyres would aid i grip, a wing will help with downforce, 30/30 settings, racing flywheel, triple plate clutch, make your spring rate lower, because if it is too high it will make the car easier to turn, but the car will bounce, and if it is too low the car will not bounce, but the steering will get harder as a result, camber angle- both below 1.0(0.8/0.8), stabilisers 3/3, and brake balance about 5-7 each, and you'll see you will get a faster time. Oh and take a look at some of my setups and see what you think

Well I could have done all those things you mention and gone alot faster but the idea behind the setup was for a car that is more like you would run on the street,I should have mentioned that in the notes but it was late and I needed to sleep due to the absence of any form of A.I in the game I'm finding ways of making the game more challenging by using less powerful cars for races with much less performance parts fitted, the problem is there are lots of setups for cars which are tuned to the hilt yet not that many for cars with the minimum of tuning, anyway thanks for the advice and I will take it on board and if you fancy a challenge how about a go at some less well known motors with minimum tuning. Its far more interesting than the usual "stick a stage 4 turbo and slicks"approach that some seem to favour,What do you think

stage 4
Yup, nik_bear, I have several cars with low power upgrades or none at all, sport tires and no wing. Looks like you modified this set, I didn't print the first one and I still havn't tried it(my bad) you added rear toe angle and changed stabs? I'll run it tonight fur sur.
Edit: o.k. I drove her hard for a while, I like it. The throttle lift to turn is very smooth. r4's are more than you need and nevermind about lowering the rear spring rate.

Lister_stormv12, I'm saying there's more to the gt series than maxing out every car, I like underpowered, no wing, sport tire cars to drive around and race sometimes.
Nike_bear, sorry for the late response, the ff race ends tomorrow, you can check it on fumes bmw 320i set as I stated earlier, all rules are there, I'm sure there will be more challanges to come.

lister_stormv12, I'm an easy going guy so I hope you don't take this wrong but I think your missing out on the point of the game. A few questions..
Do you have all golds on the license tests? I always do that first.
Did you complete all the driving missions? Only a few were hard.
How many races have you one with 150+ a-spec points?
Hope you see my point, no disrespect.
Nik_bear, I saw your post on fumes set, so your going to race the next event? Cool! However, you know you'll now be forced into posting another setup
