Comments welcome and appreciated, a good set-up to reduce understeer.

Mostly for smooth tracks, try some rear downforce for hillier tracks.

Ah, by the way, this set-up should work for the '04 version of this car bought brand new.
the glass is not half full as the optimists may say
neither is it half empty as the pessimists will have you believe
its just twice as big as it needs to be, yup that's right, i'm a realist

You had asked me to try out this setup last week, and I finally got around to it today. It's very solid.

I have to admit I had already started a race when I realized I didn't have the GT Wing. However, it drives great even without it. You did a very good job of cutting down on understeer. I normally try and keep from having too much power in my FFs, because I don't want wheelspin. Aside from just a little wheelspin in at the top of 2nd gear, your setup was great. It probably would've helped if I had remembered to leave the TCS on. Smirk

Keep up the good work!

No problems, I've been busy myself the past week.

Thanks for the comments and I hope u didn't mind me asking you to check it.

It just feels like unless you are a well known tuner it is difficult to get people to try your set-ups.

I used this setup with the '04 Civic Type R and it worked extremely well. I left off a few parts like the port polish and engine balancing so that I could be as close to your 331HP as possible. I also didn't use the increase rigidity option as this increases understeer I believe.
All in all a great setup, it was hard to believe I was in a front wheel drive car and it's worthy of a vote. Thumbs Up

Thanks,
Just one thing though, the increase rigidity basically ensures that any movement of the car sideways or up n down is completely due to the suspension rather than weaknesses in the chassis.
Another thing, those small horsepower increases wont make the car any worse so feel free to add them, tuners only put the horsepower to show what their test car had. some may work fine with more hp some wont.
