In its natural state, this car will impress you if you let it. A sloppy 7'54 on the Nurburgring on N2 tires is nothing to sneeze at (especially with 140 kg of ballast to represent a driver and passenger). That's better than my times with a BMW M5, a TVR Tuscan, and a Ruf CTR- all of which only had 70 kg of ballast (no passengers those times).
Properly tuned, it will amaze you whether you want it to or not.
This setup is tuned to capitalize on the Series 1's phenomenal aerodynamic and mechanical grip, give it a transmission it can use, and balance out the tire wear, all in one shot. It also has a low enough power to give high A-Spec points in the later races.
To get the transmission settings I have posted, first move the auto set, then adjust each individual gear. The final drive gear should be adjusted for the track- a tight circuit like Cote d'Azur will see the final at 5.500, while the Test Track would go lower (maybe 4.250 or so).
On the specified S2 tires, this setup is good for 100-150 A-Spec points in the Premium Sports Lounge and 160+ A-Spec points in the Shelby one-make race.
Comments are, of course, welcome.
Tuned for use with the DFP- DS2 users are going to find this WAY too stiff.
