Decided to use NA3 instead of turbo. No real reason why.
This setup will work just as well on turbo4.

LP, my tuning guide in the navigation bar covers this, and give examples of starting points for spring rates depending on the weight of the car and how to set it up depending on the drivetrain of the car.

Let me know by way of feedback if the guide is useful and unambiguous.

I use a formula, but it's not always a hard and fast rule, and I will still usually change it up or down by 0.1 - 0.5.
Then there are times when the formula does not indicate the car's capabilities of handling when set above or below the formula's values, eg F1 car or GT40.

As such, I'm not comfortable giving out any formulas. Instead I give you a range to work with in the tuning guide and fine tune yourself. If I give out formulas, there will be people that will say" your formula doesn't work ! I still have to change the settings" or something similar.

On quarter mile runs, what are the effects of extreme loads on the front wheels, and rear wheels in general? This car seems to have the fastest 1/4 mi run, thought I'd ask here.

During 1/4 mile acceleration most of the car's weight goes to the rear.
That means you will want a suspension setup that will not resist this weight transfer. A softer rear spring rate and higher ride height in the rear will be ideal.

Nice Setup Fumes. I've been meaning to ask you what car you used for the New York 200 miles Endurance race, and what Setup you used. I'd really appreciate the info Big Grin

I don't remember which car I used specifically.
I'm very lazy when it comes to endurance races. I just use any car that's over 600hp and slap on some S1 tires for New York track.
I'll have the AI drive the car for most of the time anyway. I can't sit there for the length of an endurance race.

This is my all-time favorite car & you are my all-time favorite tuner!
I think this is the only car to beat the proto's at LeMans.
