This is the first installment in my POS series. Not that I have a line up or anything; suggestions welcome. Let me know what you think of the car or the POS series idea in general. I think it should be fun if nothing else.

Well here it is a total POS! I have heard that winning in a Civic is not winning at all! Well my friend at least you CAN win in a Civic. With this car the only winning you will be doing is in the “least polluting” category! Why the N3 tires? Might as well have some fun with it right? Why set the TCS at all? It’s a POS why are you asking why? Seriously now the review:

I was surprised at how well this car handled for a FF (until I saw how slow I was going). It will handle full throttle pre-apex on most all corners, excluding hairpin, without the need to brake on entry; which makes for a good entry and exit speed (Ha-ha-ha-ha). The brakes are good and though I didn’t try the Racing type I just couldn’t find a need to; stock worked well enough. I managed to do the quarter mile in 17.672 seconds @ 85mph and at the back stretch of the Ring I hit a top speed of 123mph (not counting the down hill side). It could pull better times but I don’t think this is too bad for a generic road setup in a POS.

Setup done on the DFP.

Thanks; it didn’t come out as funny as I hoped. Embarrassment I will try to spice them up a little more in the future. Nod

Siggy test...
If it crawls I'll tune it!
The right lane is for slower traffic only! And somewhere in the world someone is going slower than me!

Well, the Prius does have the advantage of never needing to make a pit stop. Realizing that, I tuned one up and took it to the Nurburgring 4 hour endurance race, you know, just to win an enduro in a hybrid. OMG, bad idea! Paranoid I didn't even finish the first lap because I was getting my ass kicked so bad! I thought that never needing to make a pit stop would give me the upper hand. Well...no.

Oh man, now I have to go and make a good setup for this car just because everyone's bashing it! You can't really improve this car's performance much, but I'm gonna try anyway! I'll make a kick butt hybrid yet! Wink
