This truck was a bitch to get started! but once I finished off this setting, it was still good enough to get 200 points from a RUF BTR at El Capitan in the Tuner GP (2nd set of events in Pro League)

It can handle better, but getting it this far was worthy of posting, IMO.

*the 679 hp figure is in the setting menu. it appears differently in different places.

note: be sure to use those tires! using R3 in the front will get you some dead tires before the end of lap 3 on most races. Also, this truck may have close to 700 hp, but it can't compete with JGTC cars. It's just too heavy. However, it handles pretty damn well considering its weight and height.

ok im not denying that completing such a task wasnt noteworthy because essentially havn a ram 1500 that can take on a ruf btr on track is rather unheard of but what made you wana do such a thing in the first place. i also hate trucks and american cars but you have impressed me with the results

Trucks in this game are the sleepers. Plus, I wanted to be able to get as many points as possible, and the trucks are the easiest way to get them.

I'm glad I could shed some light on the American rides. Wink

for the Tuned car championship, a little bit slippery at high speed, but i have resurrected it from the dead, it's just a pity it's still too damn heavy

this is a good set up... it has a nice sound plus it has a some nice tail whip going around corners...put the racing muffler and u will get more hp but a honda civic sound... but whats the point of having a truck if it sounds like shit.

Thanks Man.. I was starting to think my black Ram was jinks ed as I have used 3 other colours & had very little problems apart from loosing the tail on the last lap if I got careless ,but this tune lets me slide around corners with confidence . Thumbs Up

good setup. i'd post my own but it's almost identical. i've been using the trucks for points also. here's the problem, as others have said these are heavy. keeping weight down is good. rather than use ballast, raise the nose of the truck to shift weight back and use little to no camber in rear to keep wheels planted. raise rear stabilizers to 7 and lower spring rate. this is a good setup on street courses. also a little computer help is nothing to be ashamed of. set oversteer reduction to 4. once you pass the little cars on those narrow ass euro courses the big rigs shine.
