If you are going to try a highly unstable track like the Ring or El Capitan you will need to adjust the shocks and rear downforce. Other than those two “exceptions” to the tracks in GT4 this car is good to go as is. In the past before posting a setup I would dumb down some of the settings and scrub the transmission. This time though I am providing the unaltered version that I use for racing. So before trying the car you should know that I set my transmissions for driving between second and fourth. Most tracks in GT4 need that range and this decreases the number of shifts you must make per lap. I am to lazy to adjust for each track so I try to find the balance for them all but leave enough top speed incase of long straights. This will take a little getting use to because it will give you the feeling that the car has understeer. In fact what is taking place is that you are entering the turn to hot. In other words you may be use to taking turn X in second gear doing 30. With this car second can take you up to 80+. You may notice some instability under certain braking conditions (rare); if you find it too hard to handle just drop the rear brake balance. As for me I find the extra stopping power to be worth a little brake control and a steady hand.

Normally I would include some sort of subjective write up about my impressions of the car. However since this is the Z06 (C5) I don’t think it needs one. The car speaks for it’s self.

Setup for the DFP, engine balance and port polish included.
Comments always welcome.
