Fumes 3.59.855 Trueno
Aspen 4.01.153 MR2 1600g sc
BTWhite 4.07.302 Trueno

Thanks to all who gave it a go and remember all are welcome in any race I post.

A wip for a hold over race. OLR fans, here is a race to keep everyone busy until the next organized race.

Jap production car, 1.6 liter max(ff fr mr), s3/s3 tires, wing is o.k., 230hp max, no weight restriction, no nos.

El Capitan reverse family cup with ai set at zero.

Post hot laps if you want, we'll post final times when everyone has a chance to get in and we're still away from the next race.

Keep your car to yourself, must post car and a set when posting final time.

Any sugs? I'm open, just wanted to keep the olr going strong this time.

Oh good, I thought this turned into a ghost town overnight. I'll run some cup times tonight and post one.

Wana share your splits on a hot lap?

I'll try your tokyo challange this weekend, the track should still be fresh in my head.

Can't edit my last post for some reason... here is an early cup time.

4.03.xxx

I worked the bugs out of my set, now I just need to nail the line over the big hill and through the right double left after. My exit speed is too slow coming out of that section Embarrassment Can't believe I've yet to find a good line around all of this track yet(I'm pretty good foward though)

EDIT 9/24/06: O.K. People here is what i have so far, If no one comes in soon I guess I'm the champ of my own race Confused

TOTAL: 4.01.153

lap 1 2.05.339
t1 48.462
t2 1.30.243

lap 2 1.55.814
t1 39.273
t2 1.20.737

Car specs: 1587cc, 229hp, 211.2 ft/lb torque, 941kg, 164.5 race miles.

I can guess at what car you might have with that weight.

I took hours just to find a car with 1.6litre engine capacity.

Ran a few laps and adjusted some settings, but did not have the time to run the cup laps yet.

Best Practice lap so far is 1.53'xxx @ El Capitan reverse.

"I took hours just to find a car with 1.6litre engine capacity."

You do use kerrs briliant advanced car search don't you?

I went ahead and posted a set for my mr2, I don't think anyone else is going to run and if they do I doubt they'll use the toy. I'd be greatfull if you took her for a spin.......

EDIT I hope your not running the mr2, I should have waited but I figured you for a fr like a miata or trueno...anyway on to tokyo

Hey topgear, this was just a holdover in case anyone wanted another race when nothing was going on, fume's tokyo race I hope will be a race where everyone able joins in. If he wants to host multilple races on his set thats up to him, as for me, as soon as I get in touch with zeratul I'm going to setup a 4 week race series and I'll post all races and rules on the same setup. Hope that helps, meanwhile why don't you run one of the two races posted?

I have found the perfect approach into the corner on the top of the hill at El Capitan. The corner just before the tunnel. Hardly any breaking involved and has shaved a huge chunk of time off my laps (well maybe 1 sec).

Will post my times here and setup tomorrow.

Still haven't found a car I like for the All Japan Battle.
It's either the car or I'm a bad driver.

I'm getting 1'37s & 1'36s. No where near the 1'34s with the car I have picked.
