Tuned for Drivng Force Pro at Laguna Seca on R3/R3 tires.

Ran 1' 27.330 on R3 tires, 392 Hp, 11/17/06
and 1' 32.450 on S3 tires,......... Passes the 5 second test.

Handles like an old car even when tuned.........
No TCS 'cause older cars didn't have it. Tail out fun!!!!

This is the seconed car that I tuned for the Mercedes-Benz Race Events, SL Challenge. Going back to try it again with "The Gullwing"

Mercedes-Benz Race Events SL Challenge
392 HP on S3/S3 tires.

Track (laps),..................... Auto-Set

Apricot Hill Raceway(4), ......... 9
Fuji Speedway 80's (4), ......... 13
El' Capitan (4), .................... 9

Much closer series with this 1954 300SL.......... Really have to be careful when the S3"s get slick..........

Brilliant Setup! You have my vote. Thanks a lot for this great tune!
Would it be advisable to add any TCS during long races like endurance races? I am running B-Spec right now in "1000 Miles" and am getting 12 laps at Opera Paris between pit stops. It seems to be pitting this often solely due to rear tire wear. I'd like to squeeze a few more laps between pits. Any suggestions?

Metalsmith, First off, Thanks for your vote,.......... the first on this Merc setup. Cool that your using it for the "1000 Miles!"
About the rear tire wear,...... A combination of adding a tic of TCS and changing the rear tires to a harder compound, (S2's if your using S3's) should take care of it, and get the extra laps your looking for, although B-Spec "Bob" might have a chance of spinning out on worn tires from time to time. Have a good time with the rest of your races, Brian
