^Awesome Pic, by the way! Was that at Watkins Glen?
The car is incredible as it is. Even without the St.4 turbo kit, it'll reach speeds near 400km/h on the La Sarthe II course. Best thing about it is that it's extremely kind to tires, and because of the lack of aero, it's good for 200pts against prototypes!

This is a great handling car, i wonder what the turbofans are for, though.

Thanks slapnuts, but I dont know where that picture was taken. I found it on the internet. I only put the Stage 4 kit to race with the biggies. And you know what? With sport tires, this baby can enter the classic car race and also qualifies as a compact car!!!!!!! Imagine this car vs. a Toyota Vitz.

^Funny thing about the World Classics and Compact races is the Toyota 7 racer can enter too ! Gnarly, eh?

Sorry to dig up an old post, but I had a question about your setup. (I am a complete newb at tuning) I went back and ran the World Compact Race with this car and your setup out of curiosity. I lapped the field in every event, as would be expected, Except Seattle. There I have a problem with getting WAY too much air on the long uphill section. What do I need to change to stop this? Well, other than slowing down! Thanks!

Well, usually, you apply more downforce, but this car does not have downforce, and therefore, you can't apply it. I can't think of any other way than to slow down. Sorry.

Thanks for the reply. I kinda knew the answer already, but I Love this car so I keep driving it! Oh, and slowing down works, but it's just not as much fun!

Quote from Prima GT4 Guide --
"The 2j featured two motors. The first was a monster 7.6 liter V8 Chevy engine capable of pumping 679 horsepower. The second engine was an ingenious innovation: a 274 cc snowmobile engine that powered two "sucker" fans at the car's rear. These fans sucked air from out of the car's underbelly, creating a suction that helped the car literally stick to the road. Movable skirts and flaps along the cars bottom edges helped create a strong vacuum.
The 2j first hit the track in 1970 at Watkins Glen in New York and was driven by Jackie Stewart. It immediately caused a stir. Even though other mechanical problems prevented the 2J from taking the checkered flag, it was apparent that the 2J had an unbeatable design - as a result, it was banned from numerous racing leagues shortly afterward."

The 2J is my favorite race car in the whole game! In the hands of a skilled driver, it can own Group C and LMP cars. Zero downforce makes it good for 200 pts. too! For 1.2 million, it's a steal!
