Simply put, Toyota shared all the bits of the Matrix to give Pontiac the Vibe. The RHD version of the Vibe was sold by Toyota in Japan as the Voltz, while they never made an RHD version of the Matrix. The Matrix is built in Canada, while the Vibe/Voltz were built by NUMMI in California.
