Tuned for Drivng Force Pro at Laguna Seca on R3 tires.
Includes; an "oil change" to get the Hp to 441.
Gears by way of "Tranny Trick".
Ran 1' 22.698 on R3 tires with 441 Hp from a stock tune.
So, I tune this one at Laguna Seca by taking multiple laps, making small changes in gearing and suspension, and going for another run of 3 to 10 laps. I use what I've learned about tuning cars, my notes on other AWD setups, a seat of the pants feel to tune each car. Sometimes I go to "GT Vault" after I finalize my tune and compare my end results to other setups. I'm amazed at how close this one is to Fumes' Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI. So much so that he deserves a vote for his setup. There are differences of course, but It's scary how much our final setups resemble each other.
Considering this car for Nurburgring 24 hr Endurance.

this is pretty much the sickest tuning for an AWD car that i have ever had the privelage of driving! very smooth, and hardly ANY understeer at ALL!!!!

Final Ratio, ........ 3.750
Taking a look at this car for the Nurburgring 24hr Endurance. Most likely the one I'll go with.
Extra ride height gives the suspension some room to move and keep the bottom of the car from scraping on the rough surface at The Nurburgring.
Ran 6' 38.363 on R3 tires with 441 Hp, 4/01/07.

4WD Turning

-- What would you sugest to help to get a normal car on sport tires to pull the nose into turns. Im having difficulty getting the ZZ II to respond on mid-speed entry at Nurburgring and Ive made numerous changes trying to get it right.

Fieldstar,........So here's what I know about All Wheel Drive Tuning,......... Hope I can help you, Brian
The best ones are closest to Rear Wheel Drive setups,......... Meaning.....
* Lowest possible front VCD settings
* Softer front springs than rear
* Lower front damping ratings than rear
* Softer front Sway Bars (stabilizers)
* No LSD,. not ever.. Or lowest possible settiings
Here's I bit I sent to another tuner a while back:
Just a Hint..........
Marty14, If you care to put a bit more time in this car,............... Try the AWD setups with no LSD at all. The idea of LSD works against that of the VCD. Opt for no LSD, front and rear............ and tune from there. On the cars that can't de-select LSD,......... run them all at "5",........... the minimum setting. Makes a huge difference in the snow and dirt. Give it a whirl, and let me know how it goes, Brian.

-- As you sugested with various different methods to control a AWD car. I went to work. Unfortunatly for the ZZ II, I couldnt get much more than what it had for the "Ring". However, I tried the same methods to my worst runner in the Touring Race Class, the Mazda 6 Touring Car and the Audi Le'mans Quattro. The cars had decent balance in suspension but the Mazda could not go more than 2 laps before destroying front tires. Bottoming out the VCD and LSD brought life to a 3rd lap. Removing the same for the Quattro gave a better handling overall.

Happy to hear they handled better for you. I used the same guidelines to tune a Subaru WRX STI in GT5 Prologue and was happy to find they still ring true. To fine tune even further,......... Take the car to the dirt and/or snow. Have fun, Brian
