The gearbox was set up using the infamous Tranny Trick and then the Final set to 4.410 for the Nurburgring. The car was intended for the European Hall 1000 Miles series so that Final Drive ratio was chosen to cut down on gear changes and help with corner exit grip. It is not ideal and could probably benefit from being set higher to see if it helps on the uphill sections where the Giulia actually loses speed.

If you switch the tyres to N3, endurance is massively reduced but lap times are likewise massively improved. In the endurance races it is actually beneficial to pit early on N1's and come back out on N3's - you'll more than make up the 'lost' time in the pits out on the track.
