I tuned this car for the Professional Events World Classic Car Series at Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The goal is to score 200 A-Spec points.
Changes to setup for the 'Ring compared to Laguna Seca include:
..................... Front / Rear
Ride Height ........ 116 / 118
Trans Auto-Set ......... 5
I approached this challenge due to an invite by Dotini2001. Our goal is to score 200 A-spec points for the Professional Events World Classic Car Series at Nürburgring Nordschleife , .............. and oh,............ to win the race too!!!
There at many different groups of cars that are randomly fielded, but anything with the AC 427 S/C (Cobra) or the Buick Special is out of the question when it comes to a win. You'll get 200 pts easy,........ but never win in a low Hp car.. The jury is still out on the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe and the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2).
The car groups I attempted are..........
Group 1
1966 Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto
1962 Nissan Skyline Sport Coupe (BLRA-3)
1964 Ginetta G4
1967 Toyota 2000GT
1963 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2)
Results:
68 hp / N3 tires / 200 A-Spec points / NO WIN
80 hp / S1 tires / 176 A-Spec points / NO WIN
80 hp / N3 tires / 191 A-Spec points / NO WIN
80 hp / N2 tires / .........................
Group 2
1966 Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto
1962 Nissan Skyline Sport Coupe (BLRA-3)
1965 Nissan Silvia (CSP311)
1966 Honda S800
1963 Nissan Skyline 1500 Deluxe (S50D-1)
Results:
80 hp / S1 tires / 55 A-Spec points / WIN
80 hp / N3 tires / 71 A-Spec points / WIN
80 hp / N2 tires / 87 A-Spec points / WIN
80 Hp / N1 tires / .......................?
