With this setup I won a 200 A-spec point World Classic race at the Nurburgring. The opposition was the Alfa Duetto, Marcos, Silvia, Skyline BLRA-3 and S800. The strategy was to somehow get ahead at or just after Adenauer Forest, then block like heck all the way up Kesselchen to save NOS for the final wild charge up Tiergarten, finally elbowing thru a mad three-way scramble at the last chicane. This lap of furious blocking and fighting took the violent VW all of 10:16.377.
The car had port&polish, balancing, but no oil change. Naturally the suspension settings are compromised because of unfortunately necessary N1 front tires. This virile Volkswagen may also be useful in other World Classic races with better front tires and 84 hp, setting toe at 0/-1.
