This modest van, rather humorously painted Ural Gray, won 200 A-spec points in each race (using 1st reset) of the Japanese 70's Classics:

Fuji.............................Autoset 12
Autumn Ring Mini......................6
Tsukuba......................................8
Driving Park................................6
Trial Mountain...........................10

Displacement UP, port & polish and balancing were needed on this puny 356cc inline twin. Thankfully it handles almost perfectly for what it needs to do.

Updated 4-24-08 to include setup notes for the Light-weight K-Car Cup, 200 points each race. Now up to 89,103.

I've already beaten the Formula GT. My aspec points linger in the 7000's. I seriously need some, otherwise my friends will think I did it all the easy way, and thats not cool.
It's not any fun if it's not a challenge. Nod Thanks dude.

Thanks for your post, and I hope you won the 70's Challenge with maximum points. I agree the satisfaction is sweeter when you overcome the opposition with an underpowered vehicle.

Light-weight K-Car Cup for 600 Points
The Light-weight K-Car Cup in the Beginner Hall was taken for 200 A-spec points each race versus the 2nd field reset: Mazda Autozam, Daihatsu Mira TR-XX Avanzato, Cappuccino (EA21R), Suzuki Wagon R RR (the sound of laughter), and Suzuki Kei WORKS.
The seutp was as above with the following changes: Horsepower to down 42 with semi-racing exhaust, sports chip and NA 1, S2/S3 tires, and ballast 134 kg.

Track...........................................Autoset
Driving Park Motorland...............5
Tsukuba Circuit...........................6
Driving Park Beginner Course.....5
