Notes
I found the -02 to be the least stressful in the handling department of all the Esprit models. Not as fast as the 350 but more recoverable if you don't get your timing quite right.

Lotus Nurburgring

Hi Sukerkin;
-Thanks for another platform that I can adjust for stomping on the Ring. One of my racing buddies needed a full size lotus tuned so I went striaght to your lists and chose the '02 V8 mainly bucause of the sports tires.
-Minor changes to height and rear springs gave me a 4 lap runner with an unobstructed best lap of 7'16.983.

Glad to be of help Fieldstar. I'm always pleased when the research and testing work I put in prove of worth to others.

That 7'16 lap time is really smoking for a car as twitchy as the Esprit at the 'Ring. Did you boost the HP or is it that my driving skills are not as good as your own?

Hi Sukerkin;
--Point 1-- The work you did really paid off when it came to the '02 Lotus. Twitchy I didnt see. It went where I wanted and if it did get flighty, it was simple to land. The shocks are the only thing I thought odd but the results tell the story.

--Point 2-- I doubt your skills are in question. As you, Ive been racing a long time in GT however I started GT4 in June '07 and since have been dedicated to Nurburgring when not testing for 2 player. Last week I made my 2000th lap around the Ring. And with 186 different cars, it taught me " what not to do" rather than what to do.

-So if you build something that smokes, Ill burn the tires. Thanks again Wink
