Before attempting this setup I put over 8,000 (B-spec) Test Course miles on the car, at maximum sustainable rpm, in order wear down the engine to 190hp on the Parts Change/Settings screen, and not forgetting to refresh the chassis afterward. The purpose here is to win the Mazda RX-8 Championship for 200 A-spec points at each race. Happily for those purists and aesthetes whom I greatly admire but could never hope to fully emulate, this is one of those delightful series that can be won for maximum points without the use of oxygenated fuel. Enter the 2nd reset Championship field, the one with three Type S's, one Type E and one RX-8 '03. Qualify on pole for each race. Slightly higher TCS will benefit the standing starts.
