4,416.2 Miles of the Deutsche Touring Car Meisterschaft.. ASM and TCS is mainly for B-spec, but works great for A-spec as well. This car turned me into an LMP salesman. Run race, win CLK LM, sale, collect a total of 993,749 credits.. repeat..
I have used most cars successfully in this race in B-spec. I used to through on a movie and let it roll on..Both my A4 Touring Car ( 10,712.2 Miles ) and my TT-R ( 3,652.9 miles )have been great in this race... ( the A4 sounds like its '5th' valve is being slapped around.. tick, tick, tick..either that or its going to blow up I dunno..LOL ) The Alfa Romeo not so much, always preferred to run it myself...The we just have the 190 Evo, that should probably have a few more miles on it than it has..
The CLK seemed to be my favorite from the beginning. Well balanced, good on the tires, and was strong enough to beat its big brother the CLK LM..
This one will probably have a few more HP new ( 802 HP) Mine held well by washing and changing the oil after I was done with the car each time..The big drops come from running 3,000 mile + endurance races; you really start to notice a big drop in your HP, and a change in the handling due to the rigidity 'play' within the car(s) structures... I just went and got a new one. Thought I would through up my main settings before I sell it beef up the fresh one, and transfer the settings..I think I need to get a new A4 though...LOL
EDIT: You may want to make a few minor adjustments for one of these fresh, or without the Rigidity upgrade.. The car will try to under steer a little.. Just noticing this with mine, and I remembered this from before. The old one actually has the upgrade but has not been refreshed in a long time..
EDIT: Updated the correct number of credits from race ( 15,000 x 5 races = 75,000 + 75,000 Championship Credits + 743,749 credits from sale of '98 CLK. ) 893,749 credits.
EDIT: You may use TCS and ASM numbers at 1..

15,000 X 5 = 75,000
+ 75,000
= 150,000
+ 743,749
= 893,749
Sorry, just thought I'd show that the Maths is wrong there.
Oh and also, I've made 15-20 million with this just the other day... while reading a book. Funny how that works...

Hey MakusXO I have a question...I was looking @ setups for this car about 3 weeks ago and I was contemplating using your setup or Ra3xrs's (I think that's his used name) setup...(I went with your setup by the way) but, I was wondering if I could have a little setup competiton It would probaly be just me, but if anyone wants to try it out they can...anyway I would run them both @ Fuji 2005 GT, on the same tires and with NO nitrous. Is this ok I've been bored lately and I was dreaming this up the other day, just to have a little fun...NOT to viciouslly pitt tuners against each other!

So like you wanna run mine against this other guys for each tuner and see the results? in B-spec or A-spec?
Depending on how its setup it may beat mine out.. I first tuned this one for A-spec with nitrous being the only way it really achieves top speed so it may be a little slow in some areas..just depends.
But yeah put down exactly what you want to do.. and let me know.. LOL... I never profess to be the best or the fastest.. but I'm up for it if I have the time..

It would definetly be A-Spec. However (depending on the setup) I think nitrous would be prohibited , also the competing cars would run on the some tires (once again, depending on the setup). It would be run @ Fuji 2005 GT (this time) in free run for 5 laps (but only two test laps would be allowed before the actual session). The winner would be judged on fastest total time and fastest lap time. The winner would get the title of "best setup" (for that car) unless another tuner deciedes to challenge the winning tuner for the title. The rules would be almost identacal to the tuning challenge, no wall contact, 2 wheels on the road at all times, ripple strips included. So do I have the FINAL ok Oh yeah, you also have 5 days to edit your setup before the compettion...I don't know when this one will be though. Do you think I should ask Rac3rx for consent to do this He hasn't been on for a few months though...so I'm not sure what to do...

To be honest its a little odd.. but I would definitely not feel right unless Rac3rx was here to defend his tune... Running B-spec the two are only about 0.400's apart running a Speed of 3 with the TCS and ASM at 0 for both on R1's... however his car does have better acceleration in a few areas within each gear..
Personally I feel that both tunes are as reputable for the win and taking the title would not really mean that much to me.. I feel in the Sport of Racing and competition its solely is not left up to the better tune.. but also can be about the driver itself.. I also feel that going up against someone who has a total of 79 Votes for his tune would be a little boisterous.. It could be done in all good fun however...
Still a little indifferent about it to be honest.. but if you want we can run them and compare notes and feedback..Try to get Rac3rx somehow..Post on a setup or something of his.. or send him an e-mail or message.. We need a start date after that point.. and I think that running the Five laps might as well be the last run in the DTM..Tire wear everything considered... The only thing i may change is the TCS and ASM....

Well I'll think about it a little more, and try to get to Rac3rx somehow...it seems like more trouble than it's worth, it was just another crazy little idea I had. It was no big deal, really. It's all meant to be in good fun though...
